A long summer indeed. Hazel and Oliver tied on June 7th, 2017 and had a successful breeding from just 1 encounter. He spent the night and went back home to his owners.

9 Amazing little ones were born starting at 9:09 P.M. and they kept Hazel busiy delivering her chocolatepups.com until 1:00 A.M.
After the 5th puppy was born Hazel wanted to take a break and found a spot near the laundrey basket. She was still working on delivering puppy number 6.

Hazel is a AKC Chocolate Labrador who is a family dog, hunting dog and companion dog. She is a member of our family who often is mentioned as not your typical dog. She is loving and gentle, she is a well rounded canine focused on compassion and service. Hazel has been a favored interest to so many family and friends we have her first litter of amazing puppies. These were born August 6th, 2017 and will be ready to select homes on October 1th, 2017. Several of these puppies have destinations and a select few will be offered to lifetime homes.
Hazel has been raised around other animals (live stock, birds, household pets), other families and has been well socialized in public. Hazel has a run of our 26 acre dog training area. The puppies have been socialized inside and outside and have been exposed to a variety of stimuli.
We are a single family single dog breeding 1 litter of puppies. We do not have all colors, several litters, started dogs, or other puppy mill brood litters. All of our puppies are very well socialized everyday several times a day with adults (male and female) and children ranging from 6 to 15 years old. All of the puppies get plenty of exercise, spend time outside (they are all kept inside the house during un supervised periods), and are not left in the barn or kennel like other breeders.
Olliver- The Sire- is a wonderful dog. Oliver is 90lbs. of light chocolate. He has an excellent temperament and is very tractable. Oliver is an intelligent family dog and family hunter. Oliver is very accomplished in the field. He has retrieved duck,dove, and geese. His true passion is hunting pheasant. His nose has proven to be exceptional.
Puppies are sold with full registration and customers have full control over AKC registration.
Cash payment is due at time of puppy pickup.
All our puppies will have dew claws removed, be socialized with home and family, first shots, de-wormed, and vet checked before going to their new homes.
Please remember puppies are living animals and are subject to health problems even when there is no history of this problem in their background.
Bringing a new puppy into your family is a big decision that requires lots of thought, it is a long-term-commitment to love and care for your new puppy. New puppies require lots of care, training, toys and regular veterinary visits, to maintain proper health. Be sure that you have considered all the aspects and expenses of dog ownership before purchasing one of our puppies. All sales are final and no refunds are granted.
Finally a quick prayer and picture of our Bella who we lost in a house fire in 2014. She still is with us in our hearts and one of her puppies in this picture is Oliver who sired Hazel.
